About The Sun

This work has been left permanently to the kitchen of SİS, an international artist residency in Turkey. In the hearth part of the kitchen, it evokes the sun, reproduction and growth. The following is written around the honeycomb placed in the hole:
“For fertizilization they appear in public, in full sunshine. And specifically they go as high as possible. The queen flies as high as possible toward the Sun, to which she belongs.”(Steiner, 1998, p.11)
